Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW) Event
Yes, we are responding to interest and requests to have another Lunch and Travelling Tales before the end of the year!
Come and enjoy a delicious Thai Restaurant lunch and Storytelling in Manly. People who have previously attended have enjoyed food, stories and made connections with new people. There will be some local featured accredited tellers from the Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW) and also an Open mic where the audience members may share a story of no more than 5 mins.
The theme is 'Travelling Tales' - whether it be a journey from the lounge room to the kitchen, on the Manly Ferry or adventures from around the world. The stories may be true or drawn from the genres of myth, legend or folklore and they are sure to capture the humour, surprise, danger, the unexpected, delight and wisdom experienced by many a traveller.
Sunday 28th October 12-3pm - Special lunch deal followed by Storytelling
Where: ThupTim Siam Thai Restaurant, 151 Pittwater Rd, Manly
BOOKINGS FOR THIS EVENT ARE ESSENTIAL
Bookings are made through the Storytelling Guild, not the restaurant. There are limited places so get in early. Bring some friends for a fun afternoon. Be a traveller yourself - Catch a ferry or come by bus or car. Every journey has a story.
