Storytelling in A.C.T.

The Australian Capital Territory Storytelling Guild is an incorporated non-profit group that has been part of the Canberra community since the 1980s. They encourage and promote the oral tradition of storytelling as an integral part of community life. To achieve this they meet to exchange, refine and rehearse stories,  encourage new members to tell and develop their skill as storytellers, perform storytelling sessions in the community and hold storytelling concerts. Their tellers are independent contractors available for single performances or regular sessions. And their tellers work through an accreditation process and all accredited tellers have current WWVP cards.

Newport Storytellers is an open-hearted space for people who want to learn to craft true tales, traditional stories, tall tales, yarns and stories for children; heart to heart and without notes. We welcome beginners and experienced folks. So come and strut your stuff, share what you know, try out a new story or tell a tale for the first time. https://www.nffc.org.au/storytellers.html
