Thai Lunch and Travelling Tales

Due to the wonderful response that led to our 'Lunch and Tales' afternoon on August 26th being fully booked and people requesting a repeat of the event we are offering another 'Thai Lunch and Travelling Tales' in September!

Come and enjoy a delicious Thai Restaurant lunch and Storytelling in Manly. This is a new venture to enjoy food, stories, and good company. There will be some featured tellers and also an Open mic where the audience members may share a story of no more than 5 mins.

The theme is 'Travelling Tales' - whether it be a journey from the lounge room to the kitchen, on the Manly Ferry or adventures from around the world. The stories may be true or drawn from the genres of myth, legend or folklore and they are sure to capture the humour, surprise, danger, the unexpected, delight and wisdom experienced by many a traveller.

Sunday 23rd September.  12-3pm - Special lunch deal followed by Storytelling

Where: ThupTim Siam Thai Restaurant, 151 Pittwater Rd, Manly

BOOKINGS for this event are essential

Bookings are made through the Storytelling Guild, not the restaurant. There are limited places so get in early.  Bring some friends for a fun afternoon. Be a traveller yourself - Catch a ferry or come by bus or car. Every journey has a story.
