‘More Statue Stories’

Last month at our community story swap ‘In Every Statue there lives a Story’ we had a variety of stories told by people from, Australia, Canada, USA, India. Our listeners joined us from Italy, Singapore, New Zealand and different parts of Australia. The story swaps are always a wonderful opportunity to enjoy oral storytelling, networking and cultural exchange.

…. so join host Christine Carlton for fables, fairytales, legends, stories of historical people or events that have inspired statues that are found in public spaces. Perhaps there will be stories about statues that appear in literature and hold special or mystical powers, or maybe a statue may have inspired someone to create a new imaginative story. Come as a listener or a teller to enjoy a session of entertaining oral storytelling.
