All ages – Kate has told stories to audiences ranging from pre-schoolers to adults, in Australia, Fiji, Singapore, Hong Kong, Greece, the UK and USA. She spends most of Bookweek on the road talking at schools throughout Australia.

STORIES

Kate is an internationally published author of books for both children and adults, and so she often weaves together anecdotes from her childhood and her writing life with stories from history, fairy tales and folklore. Many of her stories are dramatic, exciting and unexpected.

Kate is a passionate believer in the power and necessity of stories, and she loves to inspire others to tell their stories too. Kate also runs writing and storytelling workshops and retreats for all ages, and is a regular guest at literary festivals and conferences around the world.
