Last month we had a great gathering of people who enjoyed a range of stories that included the word 'Pyjamas' in their story. This prompt surfaced a few stories that included experiences of porridge at boarding school so this month the challenge for those telling the prepared 4-6 minute stories is that the word 'Porridge’ must appear in the story. Porridge does not have to be the focus of the story. See how seamlessly ‘porridge’ can fit into your personal story or a favourite fairy or folk tale. There are already a number of porridge stories in folklore. Do you have a funny story, folktale or family cultural story about oatmeal, rice or barley porridge or congee?
