Free Online Oral Storytelling Event

They waited… for a sign, a stranger, a ship, a miracle.

Some waited patiently. Others had no choice. Some waited far too long. And some discovered that what they were waiting for had been waiting for them all along.

Join us for a collection of folktales, fairy tales, historical stories, personal stories, and creative fantasies, where every story must include the words: “They waited…” “He waited…” or “She waited…”

But what were they waiting for? And what happened when the waiting was finally over?

If you would like to tell a prepared story in 5-6 minutes, email Christine Carlton at storyaus@gmail.com  to be put on the list to tell a short story that includes the words 'They/He/She waited...'
The stories are told, not read.

This is a free online event organised by the Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW). Come as a listener or teller. All welcome.

Register on Humanitix to receive the Zoom link to attend the session.
