Free Online Oral Storytelling Event

The Door'

Every door has a story. Some are locked, some are open, some invite us in, while others warn us to stay away. What lies behind a closed door? Where might an unexpected doorway lead? And what happens when we dare to turn the handle?

Step through the doorway into a world of secrets, surprises, magic and possibility. Discover doors that open to extraordinary adventures, forbidden places, new beginnings and unexpected encounters. From ancient folktales and fairy tales to personal stories, fantasy and moments in history, who knows what awaits on the other side?

If you would like to tell a prepared story in 5-6 minutes, email Christine Carlton at storyaus@gmail.com  to be put on the list to tell a short story that includes the words 'The Door'
The stories are told, not read.

This is a free online event organised by the Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW). Come as a listener or teller. All welcome.

Register on Humanitix to receive the Zoom link to attend the session.
