Free Online Oral Storytelling Event 

'Secret Passions'  is an evening of oral storytelling that reveals the desires we rarely speak aloud—the quiet obsessions, forbidden dreams, private joys, and fierce devotions that shape who we are. These are the stories carried in silence: a love that could not be named, a calling denied, a talent hidden, a risk taken in the dark, quiet altruism.

Through myth, folktale, history, and personal stories, storytellers will bring to light the moments when something secret burns too brightly to ignore. Perhaps there will be tales of concealed identities, unexpected longings, creative fire, and the courage—and cost—of living deeply with passion.

If you would like to tell a prepared story in 5-6 minutes, email Christine Carlton at storyaus@gmail.com  to be put on the list to tell a short story on the theme 'Secret Passions'. The stories are told, not read.
