WEAVING STORIES TOGETHER: SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL STORYTELLING CONFERENCE at Baulkham Hills Some of the feedback!!
What a wonderful nourishing weekend at The Sydney International Conference.
Excellent!, Learnt a lot and laughed a lot. Thankyou!
Well done to the convenors and support people, it is wonderful to have access to overseas tellers as well as our local talent. Always something to learn.
The Poster Session was fabulous. A chance to chat at some length and exchange ideas
It was a buzz. Loved that we had people from far and near and of different cultural backgrounds.
I love it! And I thought this year was the best yet. I love the informality; the way people (especially this year) just pitched in and reached out to newcomers. There were two new Victorian tellers there and they were overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of spirit.
The timekeeping was greatly appreciated. It’s rare to attend a conference and see everything run on time.
It’s a beautiful gathering of people who are generous to share their own story-work! What a creative and empathetic bunch!
I really enjoyed the conference and learnt so much from the speakers and presenters. I’ve already used some of the tips telling this week. It was all run so smoothly. Thank you so much to the organisers for your hard work.
It was beyond description! Thank you for hosting that wonderful conference.
Well if you will insist on putting on a stunning event... what else could we do but thoroughly enjoy it!
Great work behind the scenes, and at the scene. A wonderful experience of learning, networking, experimenting, playing with ideas and being challenged and inspired to develop my craft of Oral Storytelling. The conference was well-balanced with content and practice. I loved it. Thank you to the presenters and organisers for their generosity and practical and creative work.
Thank you Storytellers NSW for hosting such a fabulous conference. It was a credit to you all for the magnificent effort you put in to make it all run so smoothly with something exciting for everyone.
