Weaving stories from the land
POSTPONED DUE TO COVID

Explore your wild side and awaken your creative energies on an experiential weekend of storytelling, ecology, deep listening and story sensing. We invite you to join us on Darug land, in a cosy retreat, with fellow storytellers, creatives, earth lovers, healers and changemakers. In the wild presence of the magical Wollemi Valley, take time to tune your ears to the stories whispered in the blue gums, called through the song of the lyrebirds and held in the sandstone cliffs and creek lines.
Anna, Jacqui and Liz will be your retreat facilitators, storytellers and nature guides. Working with the potent energy of spring, we will explore kinship and creative storytelling practices, through movement, music, word crafting and imagining. The morning, afternoon and evening sessions will be woven together as a journey, where you explore traditional framing stories and emerging narratives. Enjoy the experience of travelling deep into story, growing new stories, and finding your sense of place/belonging within the natural and mythical landscapes.
Relax and renew your body and soul, as we share this special weekend with fireside story circles, storytelling performances, mindful wild walks, sitting spots, feasting, star gazing and dreaming. This time together is our time to grow community through storying, collaboration and nature connection. Open the green doorway, weave stories, and dream into a wider, wilder relationship with Mother Earth, our home.
REQUIREMENTS: No prior experience needed.
